Deadliest Catch

My job appears to be rather mundane; three minutes into watching this clip I began to feel decidely queasy.

I can’t believe they don’t wear some kinds of safety harness

A friend of mine, Adam Lalich, from the States, has worked on these boats for years , fishing for King crabs. However ,on one pleasure(!) trip to the Arctic, which he made on his own 40′ steel yacht. he lost his scottish companion over board, and then lost the boat, and had to be rescued by the nearest rescue team. Since then , he wears his harness…

Now that you mention it, there was a guy who studied Physics with me in college and left it in first year to go working on a trawler. Where are you now Joe?
